Once in a lifetime

Nem adtam fel, és ma este - az előző napi negatív tapasztatalatok ellenére - a Talking Heads Stop Making Sense című albumát hallgattam és a lemez borítójában levő füzetet nézegettem, miközben azzal a Toldi-mozis, esti programmal barátkoztam, ahol az említett koncertfilmet először (és gondolom egy ideig utoljára) tervezték leadni Magyarországon. A hezitálás többek között abból a tapasztalatból táplálkozott, hogy előtte egy nappal az Ashley Beedle-féle Black Jazz Chronicles Fela Kuti halálára ill. tiszteletére kiadott Future Juju c. lemezét hallgattam (a Fela I.T.T.-je szempüljét is felhasználó World Will Rock volt az első szám, amit a Tilosról felvettem kazettára! :) ), majd elmentem az A38-ra Horace Andy és Ashley Beedle estjére, ahol - bár az előbbi továbbra is meggyőző éneklési kvalitásáról tett tanúbizonyosságot - az egész produkció összességében igen gyengének bizonyult.
Aztán az egyik barátom megírta egy baráti levelezőlistán, hogy éppen befejezte a függönyei mosását, amiből eszembe jutott, hogy ez az intézmény az utóbbi 6-7 évben teljesen kívül maradt a gondolatvilágomon, és az előszobás sötétítő függönyök gyors csekkolása (eredmény = tíz szénfekete ujj) után arra a következtetésre jutottam, hogy ideje lenne azonnal kimosnom a függönyeimet és az előszoba szőnyegeit, hogyha már abban a hitben szeretném ringatni magamat, hogy a tavaszi nagytakarítást letudtam. A - működését élőben követni nem kívánt - mosógépemen amúgy is nagy kedvencem a 3 és 6 órás késleltetési funkció, de most akár a szimpla, nem késleltetett - két óra időtartalmú - mosás is esélyesnek tűnt, szóval megkaptam a szükséges plusz "push"-t a film megnézéséhez, úgyhogy egy gyors - létrás - akciózás után meg is pattantam a Toldi moziba.
Ott meg az utóbbi idők/évek legjobb filmnézési élményében lehetett részem. Már az is jól esett, amikor egy - Ezoterikus Jánoshoz méltóan - széles korsó sörrel a kezemben elkezdhettem nézni David Byrne szólógitározásását és -énekét, majd Tyna Weymouth basszusgitárossal való kiegészülését, de aztán csak ámultam és bámultam, ahogy a - fekete ruhás emberek segítségével - folyamatosan további hangszerekkel és hangszerekkel, valamint - Feláék és Femiék által is megirigyelhetett - feka táncoslányokkal egészült ki az egészen feszes funk produkció. (A kiteljesedéshez amúgy mindenképpen szükséges volt az az élmény, amit a moziterem bejáratánál szívható cigaretták (!) és a teremben iható sörök (!!) jelentettek, így a Once in a lifetime-nál már konkrétan felállva táncolhattam és tapsolhattam is.) Bővebben nem is írnék a filmről - Gitár János pl már úgyis megtette itt -, a lényeg az, hogy oltári módon jó volt nagy vetítővásznon és az említett körülmények között, és bánhatja az, aki kihagyta. (A+)

Utána - már lejárt mosógép ide-oda - jól esett a sörözés és a becherovkázás is a Quart szerkesztői zenélésére, bár az rosszul esett, hogy (többek között) jónéhány Quart szerkesztő sem tudta a legcsekélyebb mértékig is komolyan venni az arra az állapotokra vonatkozó észrevételeimet, ami az Andrássy úti bicikliútra vonatkozott. (Konkrétan ott leginkább olyan, csak a nácikhoz hasonlítható, zebrán _ és_ bicikliúton parkoló autósokat/taxisokat látok minden alkalommal, akik még meg is akarnak verni, amikor jelzem nekik, hogy szerintem nem helyesen teszik azt, amit.)

Azért remélem, hogy hamarosan eljön a falhoz állító forradalom, vagy megkapják az atomjukat az illető autósok, az estét és a filmélményt meg már senki sem tudja elvenni tőlem, szevasztok.
